Collaborators
There are seven institutions in the NORMS network. Each is led by a seasoned syntactician, with an expert team of researchers. The groups are dynamic and fluid and in many cases cross institutional and disciplinary boundaries. Though unified in the pursuit of a satisfactory analysis of Scandinavian syntactic variation, there is much diversity in the group: we have scholars in Dept.s of Nordic, Linguistics, and English; we have researchers who use LFG, Minimalism, Construction Grammar, OT, and other analytic frameworks; and we have researchers whose primary interests lie in cognitive, computational, social, and other aspects of linguistic analysis. Each individual researcher participate in one of the ten cross-institutional thematic groups within NORMS.
